Hello, a very short update today as I was basically recovering from this cold. But I did:
a) Have an informal chat with the present incumbent of one of the ministry jobs - very interesting low down on what I would be doing, and who with etc. - not sure it beats the other ministry, but hey at this stage beggars (me), unfortunately cannot be....
b) Researched and purchased Charlotte's birthday present - an MP3 player from Dick Smith Electronics, which is essentially a NZ version of Maplin with a bit of PC World thrown in too. Anyway I got a great little Samsung 2Gb player for her, and yes I pre-recorded a little message on its voice recorder....ever the karaoke singer me ;)
c) Deleted SaucySausage Internet dating profile thing - his work is done, and besides all the attention was going to my head!
d) Had myself a steak sandwich - as I had promised myself for a while now - it was not bad and I have discovered an unknown liking of beetroot!
e) Met Charlotte for drinks and then dinner - a lovely little pasta restaurant off of Courtney Place - walked her home and after a goodnight (or two) walked along the front back to here.
So all in all a very nice day....I wonder what will happen tomorrow?
