Hello, Well I am typing this on my last Sunday in the UK before I leave for New Zealand - I say last, as things stand at the moment it will maybe just be one before a short break - and by break I am that financially as well as in time!
Sorry if the pessimism is coming out in this post, but well, you know me - or at least you should do, otherwise you have just browsed into this post by chance?
Well in terms of news...mmm let me see...complete panic set in again last night and this, combined with a pseudo association between me being successful, and England winning the rugby (we all know how that went), has lead me to again ponder on what I am doing. The culmination of that ponder was late last night with an application for a Microsoft job in Reading, yes Reading UK, via the Monster job search thing!
That was last night, and with the new dawn has come a new realisation that basically I should be OK with my original NZ plans....this would have been the Worlds shortest blog if I had not decided this you understand....anyway I have just completely rewritten my CV, even including a new font, and providing the closing date has not gone (I will claim UK time difference if it has), I am about to send it to another NZ governement department, who have a Chief Information Officer post on offer....in fact why am I typing this and not sending it??? One sec......
OK that has been sent...now we wait...panic...wait...panic (you get the picture).
Oh yes, on a practicle note I have tidied 1 x drawer and half of a cupboard out, so I have at least started the destruction of Coggeshall domicile Kev!
