Well, just got in after my leaving 'do' presentation and drinks after down the ole'Albert pub. It has not quite hit me yet, but that's it I guess...6 years 10 months...on paper alone it looks like I enjoyed working with the ladies and gentlemen of Essex Probation, but I can tell you that I really did, and I will miss you all (assuming you are an Essex Probation person reading this - if you are my Mum or Dad, then of course I will miss you too, but as you remember from the state of my room, I never actually 'worked' with you).
Anyway, I made a promise that I would not ramble on too much here - but I just wanted to say, without loosing my normally steely composure (unlike during my brief speech in the office), how I enjoyed being a part of something that actually means something to people. Also thank you very much for the collection and card - now if I follow the Richard Branson model and invest those dollars, then you never know I may become a millionaire...what was the web site for the NZ lottery again?
Keep checking back for some photo's of me with wads of cash, which I will post here soon!
I will try and make this blog more entertaining than Big Brother, for example....mmm, possibly needs more about the cat (Jenny) I am leaving (for now at least) with my Mum?
