Caught in the act! No, this is not my Madonna 'Vogue' impression...but looking at myself it could possibly be my impression of 'the fallen Madonna with the big boobies' ( 'allo 'allo reference there in case you are trying to remember), but I blame the lighting, camera and angles!
Anyway, here is a typical image of how I used to take Service Desk calls for you all, note the casual approach and good humor? Mmmm...maybe I should take up acting, after all, as I have got the 'Switch it off and on again' line down to a tee!
Two things I wanted to point out in this picture, a) the well placed card that reminded me there was no going back now...still it was nice of Mary to send me something...pity it was a month before I said I was going! (joking of course - the card actually contained my P45 from HR!)....ahem....anyway, the second thing of note is, the ring I am wearing. I 'found' this ring somewhere in New Zealand's south island about 3 years ago, and ever since then it has been drawing me back...still at least I will have something to do once I arrive this time, as in locate the fire of Mount Doom and cast the thing in! Still it's a pity the invisibility power only slightly works on my fingers :( <- wow, that was a geeky reference - apologies there. OK - two more pictures to post....
